Send SMS At Cheaper Rate on New Year!

Good News for all those who send New Year Wishes/Greeting to there near and dear one's on 31 December or 2nd of January, now you can wish them on the day you want to wish without no extra cost. Yes, now you can wish on 1st of January hopefully.  Madras High court has ordered the operators not to charge any extra cost from the customers on the Blackout days( ie., New year, Diwali and other festival days)


But the operators are allowing to send Unlimited SMS on these days, charging Premium rates as TRAI's recent move, only 200 SMS's/day from each sim one can send, but operators are charging Rs.0.60-Rs.1.50/sms on Blackout days, in spite of having SMS offers etc.
